Caterpillar, Deerfield, Ill., reported second quarter 2022 sales and revenues of $14.25 billion, an 11 percent increase compared with $12.89 billion in the second quarter of 2021. For the first half of 2022, sales and revenues were $27.84 billion compared to $24.78 billion during the same time last year.

Finning International, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, earned C$2.29 billion (US$1.77 billion) in revenue during the 2022 second quarter, up 24 percent compared to C$1.85 billion (US$1.43 billion) during the 2021 second quarter.

Generac Holdings, Waukesha, Wis., reported a record $1.29 billion in net sales during the 2022 second quarter, a 40 percent increase compared to $919.98 million during the 2021 second quarter. Net sales for the first six months of 2022 were $2.43 billion, compared to $1.73 billion the year prior.

Kubota Corp., Osaka, Japan, earned ¥667.26 million (US$4.94 million) in revenue during the 2022 second quarter, compared to ¥563.72 million (US$4.17 million) during the 2021 second quarter. Revenue for the first half of 2022 was ¥1.26 billion (US$9.33 million), compared to ¥1.10 billion (US$8.14 million) the year prior.

Terex Corp., Norwalk, Conn., reported $1.08 billion in net sales during the 2022 second quarter, a 4 percent increase compared to $1.04 billion in the 2021 second quarter. Net sales for the first six months of 2022 were $2.08 billion, compared to $1.90 billion the year prior.
