ARA pushes for additional COVID-19 relief

Nov. 28, 2021

The American Rental Association (ARA) and members of the Economic Bridge Coalition (EBC) — of which ARA is a founding member — have spent months lobbying in Washington, D.C., for additional support for those impacted by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The EBC has learned that Congress is actively discussing a relief package that could help ARA members left out of previous COVID-19 relief programs.

Now, ARA is calling on all members to contact their Senators to express the need for additional help for the rental industry.

“This is the industry’s chance to get additional funding that is still desperately needed by those most severely impacted by the pandemic. We’re asking all members to please reach out to their Senators and make sure our voice is heard,” said John McClelland, Ph.D., ARA vice president for government affairs and chief economist.
