Cummins, Columbus, Ind., earned $6.1 billion in revenue during the 2021 first quarter, up 22 percent compared to the 2020 first quarter.

Generac Power Systems, Waukesha, Wis., earned a record $807 million in net sales during the 2021 first quarter, up 70 percent compared to $476 million the year before. Residential product sales more than doubled to $542 million, compared to $258 million last year, representing a 110 percent increase. Commercial and industrial product sales increased 18 percent to $202 million, compared to $172 million in the prior year.

Xylem, Rye Brook, N.Y., reported first quarter 2021 revenue of $1.26 billion, a 12 percent increase compared to $1.12 billion in the 2020 first quarter.
