Event Essentials acquires A La Crate Rentals

Event Essentials, a division of A to Z RentAll & Sales, Madison, Wis., has expanded its operation by acquiring A La Crate Rentals, Monona, Wis., a rental company that is known for its handcrafted items by local artists, vintage offerings, furniture and lettering for signage.

“If the pandemic has taught us anything, it is that we are better together,” says Robert Copley, CERP, manager of Event Essentials, Windsor, Wis. “A La Crate Rentals complements our inventory and will serve as the boutique division of Event Essentials. This division will focus on leaning into A La Crate Rentals’ creativity and allow us to plan more collaborations with local makers, unearthing one-of-a-kind treasures that will help our clients’ events shine going into 2021.”

Both businesses will continue to operate out of their respective locations. A La Crate Rentals’ founder, Sarah Mullins, will stay on as director of boutique rentals.

“We felt now was the time to combine our strengths to our clients. This offers an exciting expansion of our family-owned-and-operated business, which has been serving the greater Wisconsin area since 1954,” says Copley, who serves as ARA of Wisconsin president.
