- The ARA Show is now using smart badges. What is a smart badge?
Smart badges use location-based technology to deliver check-in data. Small location tags are placed on the back of badges and readers are placed in education rooms, the show floor and elsewhere in the convention center. This technology will allow The ARA Show to provide you with resources catered to the needs of attendees and provide information about their experience. Data collected will be used by The ARA Show in the analysis of this year’s show and the planning of future events. All data reporting will be based on aggregate general demographics rather than individual data. No individual data will be collected or shared. If you wish to opt out of the smart badge, please speak with someone at a registration counter and they will give you a badge without smart capabilities
