American Rental Association (ARA) member volunteers annually comprise committees, councils, work and shared interest groups (SIGs), which serve as advisors to ARA. These member leadership groups consist of general and associate members working alongside ARA and/or ARA Insurance staff to offer their expertise and assist the association in providing relevant programs, products and services to meet member needs and support their business success.
The goals and objectives of the ARA strategic plan drive the work of these volunteer groups, which are charged with progressing toward the achievement of those objectives. The following members from Region Nine have been selected to participate in 2022:
Joelyn Caprine, CERP, 24/7 Events, Valencia, Calif., is serving on the Event Rental SIG.
Brandy Carmona, Makinex Construction Products, Torrance, Calif., is serving on the Women in Rental Committee.
Bridget Doherty, Encore Events Rentals, Windsor, Calif., is serving on the Event Rental SIG.
Tom Hughes, Hometown Rentals, San Dimas, Calif., is representing the ARA Insurance board on the Equipment Rental SIG.
Alex Kouzmanoff, CERP, Aztec Tents, Torrance, Calif., is serving on the Event Rental SIG.
Chantelle Martin, Martin’s Equipment Rentals, Vacaville, Calif., is serving on the Young Professionals Committee.
Jared Medaris, CERP, Expo Party Rentals, Fresno, Calif., and ARA of California president, is serving on the Event Rental Advocacy Work Group.
Michelle Nelson, MK Equipment Corp., Honolulu , is serving on the Equipment Rental SIG.
Robert Pedersen, A Tool Shed, Santa Cruz, Calif., is serving as co-chair of the Equipment Rental SIG.
Jeff Roberts, City Rentals, Ontario, Calif., is serving on the Equipment Rental Advocacy Work Group.
