American Rental Association (ARA) member volunteers annually comprise committees, councils, work and shared interest groups (SIGs), which serve as advisors to ARA. These member leadership groups consist of general and associate members working alongside ARA and/or ARA Insurance staff to offer their expertise and assist the association in providing relevant programs, products and services to meet member needs and support their business success.
The goals and objectives of the ARA strategic plan drive the work of these volunteer groups, which are charged with progressing toward the achievement of those objectives. The following members from Region Three have been selected to participate in 2022:
Brandon Ahlgren, CERP, Elite Events & Rentals, Tampa, Fla., and ARA of Florida president, is serving on the Young Professionals Committee.
Bryan Bolt, TopTec Event Tents, Moore, S.C., and ARA associate member director, is serving on the Event Rental Advocacy Work Group.
Andy Cooke, Cooke Rentals, Cornelius, N.C., is serving on the ARAPAC Council.
Jeff Crotto, CERP, All About Events – Jacksonville, Jacksonville, Fla., and ARA Region Three director, is serving on the Event Rental Advocacy Work Group.
Amanda Gray, Georgia Expo Manufacturing Corp., Suwanee, Ga., is serving on the Event Rental SIG.
Dan Hooks, CERP, Party Reflections, based in Charlotte, N.C., and ARA board president, is serving as chair of the Event Rental Advocacy Work Group and is representing the ARA board of directors on the Event Rental SIG, the Exhibitor Advisory Council and the ARAPAC Council.
Jane Hutton, Arena Americas, Oak Creek, Wis., who works in Lake Worth, Fla., is serving on the Event Rental Advocacy Group and the Event Rental SIG.
Carol Fontanez, Jamco, Sanford, Fla., and ARA of Florida secretary, is serving on the Equipment Rental SIG.
Jeff Lignugaris, Northside Tool Rental, Atlanta, is serving on the Equipment Rental Advocacy Work Group.
Ed Noonan, United Rentals, Stamford, Conn., who works in Charlotte, N.C., is serving on the Equipment Rental Advocacy Work Group.
Doug Rook, Party Reflections, based in Charlotte, N.C., is serving on the Event Rental SIG.
Garrett Shurling, Badger Rental Services, Garden City, Ga., is serving on the Equipment Rental SIG.
Michael E. Tharpe, Rainier Industries, Tukwila, Wash., who works in Statesville, N.C., is serving on the Exhibitor Advisory Council.
