The Certified Event Rental Professional (CERP) program is offered exclusively by ARA for event rental professionals. The program is available to all ARA members that have been employed at an event rental store for at least six months. This in-depth, online program is designed to strengthen your knowledge, expertise, and commitment to the industry and your customers. This redesigned 23-course program focuses on front-of-the-house topics: fundamentals of the industry, customer service, sales, tabletop, inventory, and marketing.

Program overview

This redesigned 23-course program focuses on front-of-the-house topics: fundamentals of the industry, customer service, sales, tabletop, inventory, and marketing. Students must complete all 23 courses by successfully completing a quiz at the end of each course and passing with an 80%.

Recertification

To recertify, you will need to earn 35 professional credits within a 5 year time-frame, complete the application and pay the recertification fee.

When you become a CERP graduate, you will be sent marketing materials designed to help you raise awareness of your designation among your customers and potential customers.
