Peter Casas

Peter Casas, 59, Harlingen, Texas, died Nov. 20. For the past 38 years, Casas worked for Tejas Equipment Rental, based in San Antonio. He started his career at the company in 1984 as branch manager. He served in many roles over the years, most recently as regional manager for central Texas and director of support services.

Casas is survived by his daughters, Pamela (Gabriel Elizararaz) Casas and Erica (Gary) Esquivel; sons, Peter (Elizabeth) Casas Jr. and John (Clarissa Leija) Casas; 20 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; the mother of his children, Mona Casas; his mother, Gloria Casas; and brothers, Everardo “Eddie” (Evelyn) Casas Jr., Melchor “Malcolm” (Candi) Casas and JC (Dina) Casas.
