Networking events offer something for everyone

Throughout The ARA Show™ 2023 — scheduled for Feb. 11-15 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando — attendees will have numerous opportunities to meet and network with others in the industry. The show will include a variety of networking events designed to bring members of the equipment and event community together.

The following events will be held at the convention center, unless otherwise noted.

Saturday, Feb. 11

Future of Equipment Rental and EventsU
New in 2023, Future of Equipment Rental and EventsU (formerly Events & Tents) education sessions will offer rental-specific education and networking events for both the equipment and event segments of the rental industry. Future of Equipment Rental will offer sessions designed for the equipment rental industry along with a networking breakfast, lunch and a closing cocktail reception. EventsU, for those in the event rental industry, will include education sessions, breakfast keynote and an interactive lunch session. In addition, a ticket for an evening EventsU Reception can be purchased. These are separate programs from The ARA Show with an additional registration fee.

Sunday, Feb. 12

ARA Industry Awards Lunch
11:30 a.m.–1 p.m.
This break between the morning and afternoon education sessions will provide an opportunity for attendees to meet others during lunch. This event will recognize American Rental Association (ARA) members for their contributions, including recognizing those being inducted into the Rental Hall of Fame. Tickets are $40 per person.

ARA Young Professional Network (YPN) Reception
6-9 p.m.
Two great events come together with this gathering of YPN members — those between the ages of 18 and 40 — and a chance to watch the big game with the full country experience in Ole Red, Blake Shelton’s latest bar in the heart of Icon Park. Tickets are $100 per person.

Monday, Feb. 13

Keynote Session
8-9:30 a.m.
Daymond John — CEO and founder of FUBU, a global lifestyle brand, star of ABC’s “Shark Tank” and more — will present the Keynote Session. Admission to the keynote is included with full registration and is open to exhibitors and independent manufacturer reps (IMRs).

Welcome Reception
5-6:30 p.m.
ARA’s 10 regions will host a reception, and a leader from each region will be recognized for their contributions to the rental community. Tickets are $40 per person.

ARAPAC Reception
7-9 p.m.
Members of ARA’s political action committee (ARAPAC) and their guests are invited to gather at Topgolf, across the street from the convention center for a night at the driving range. Tickets are $100 per person and must be purchased by ARAPAC members.

Tuesday, Feb. 14

Women in Rental Breakfast
7:45-9 a.m.
Keynote speaker Connie Podesta will lead this engaging opportunity to network and learn from leading women in the rental industry. Podesta is known worldwide for her innovative and out-of-the-box creativity and incredible stage presence. Tickets are $40 per person.

Show Floor Reception
3:30-4:30 p.m.
Raise a glass with exhibitors and network with fellow attendees as you enjoy complimentary beer, wine and soft drinks at bars located throughout the show.

ARA Foundation Charity Auction and Reception
5-6:30 p.m.
This popular live auction is returning for 2023. Give back to the equipment and event rental community by bidding on equipment and other items. Proceeds support the ARA Foundation’s initiatives, including scholarships, employee training assistance, disaster relief, community improvement, mentoring and more.

ARA’s Tuesday Night Event at Universal Studios Orlando
7:30-10:30 p.m.
Tickets are $100 per person.
