Western Global adds new facility

Western Global, Troy, Mich., has opened its third U.S. facility, located in Sacramento, Calif. The facility joins the company’s locations in Troy, Mich., and Pineville, N.C.

“Our fuel tanks have continued to grow in popularity since our first U.S. location opened in 2006,” said John Cleary, Western Global Americas’ vice president, sales. “We opened our Pineville location four months ago to be closer to our east coast customers. We see this Sacramento location as the next logical progression in closing the proximity gap between customers so we can be ready for whatever their job or conditions might require.”

The company is reducing carbon emissions by minimizing the distance trucks need to travel to shop its products to their destination. The transportable TransCube Global fuel tanks accommodate petroleum diesel as well as renewable diesel, offering advanced options for fleets to focus on environmental impacts.
