Stanley Sloan, 90, of Elmhurst, Ill., died June 28, 2022. Sloan was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War with four years of military service. Sloan also was the founder of Contractors Equipment Rentals (C.E. Rentals) which opened in Elmhurst in 1990. He ran and worked in the business for more than three decades with his son, Robert.
Sloan is survived by his wife, Joanne; children, Suzanne (Jonathan Eichman), Julianne, John (Debbie), and Robert (Sheryl) Sloan; and several grandchildren.
