Berry Cos. acquires Bright Equipment/Bobcat of Indy

Berry Cos., Wichita, Kan., has acquired Bright Equipment ⁠— better known as Bobcat of Indy, Indianapolis.

Bright Equipment was founded in 1962 when the Bright family acquired the local Ford tractor dealership. In 1976 they took on the Bobcat line and have expanded over time. Currently, they have more than 90 employees at six stores.

This acquisition includes all six stores: Bobcat of Indy, Bobcat of Anderson, Bobcat of Indy North, Bobcat of Ellettsville, Bobcat of Kokomo and Bobcat of Columbus. Bobcat of Indy will become the ninth division of Berry Cos.
