Keeping up with the construction economy

Jul. 03, 2022

Do more with less. Increase efficiency and productivity. Reduce emissions through clean energy. These are just a few of the trends impacting the equipment rental industry and influencing the way manufacturers are designing equipment for 2022 and beyond. The world we live in — and the construction economy — continues to evolve at a rapid pace, and we all need to adapt to find continued success.

Demand for construction and equipment well exceeds supply. We continue to hear from our customers about the backlog of projects, and some are flat out turning down jobs. There is a labor shortage in construction, and there aren’t enough people to support the long list of projects and development opportunities.

To keep up, contractors are looking for more powerful and efficient equipment, equipment that can make the labor on the job site more productive given limited human resources.
