Kirby-Smith Machinery; Maxim Crane Works; Ruthmann Holdings GmbH; Thunder Creek Equipment

Kirby-Smith Machinery (KSM), Oklahoma City: Colin Brown has been named branch manager for its Oklahoma City location. The move marks a return to KSM for Brown, having served in roles as a product service manager and governmental sales representative for the Dallas branch during his first tour with the heavy equipment distributor. In this role, he will be responsible for managing branch operations in Oklahoma City, including oversight of its parts, service and rental departments.

Maxim Crane Works, Wilder, Ky.: Larry Lis has been named vice president of fleet management and Richard Minter has been named vice president of pricing and sales operations. Lis has more than 23 years of experience at Maxim Crane, most recently serving as the regional vice president for the Midwest region. Minter will leverage people, data and technology to develop pricing strategies and deliver market intelligence and sales process design to increase sales productivity and drive profitable growth across Maxim’s national branch footprint.

Ruthmann Holdings, Gescher, Germany: Rolf Kulawik, managing director, is retiring on June 30. Kulawik began his career at Ruthmann in 2009 as service manager international and was appointed managing director the following year. Uwe Strotmann will become the new managing director on July 1. He has been with the company since 1994. Strotmann also takes over the position for Ruthmann on the board of Time Manufacturing Co., Waco, Texas. Other appointments on July 1 include: Annette Timpe, head of human resources and new authorized signatory; Stefan Linnemann, head of overall sales, marketing and used equipment division as an authorized signatory; Uwe Stapper, commercial manager and authorized signatory, and Dr. Nico Krekeler, head of development and design, authorized signatory.

Thunder Creek Equipment, Pella, Iowa: Niki Patterson has been named new manager of dealer development and national accounts. A former sales manager at Mahindra USA, Patterson has spent her entire career in the equipment sales market and will use her expertise to grow major accounts, develop dealer relationships and strengthen the Thunder Creek network.
