The American Rental Association (ARA) is canceling its Rental Innovation Conference & Exhibits, which had been scheduled for March 9 and 10, 2022, in Grapevine, Texas.
The decision was made due to several factors. One was the continued spread of the omicron variant of the coronavirus (COVID-19). Both transmission and positivity rates in Dallas County, Texas, are currently categorized as “high.” In addition, many large organizations have gone back to essential travel only and are consumed with equipment availability issues, as well as parts and staff shortages.
All of these factors led to ARA canceling the event. The association is evaluating options to deliver the education program portion of the conference as a future standalone event.
