REIC opens new specialty equipment branch

Rental Equipment Investment Corp. (REIC), Miami, through its wholly owned subsidiary RE Investment Co., has opened a new specialty equipment rental location in Tualatin, Ore., which is about 12 miles southwest of downtown Portland, Ore. This new location will focus on the renting of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) units. REIC now operates 32 rental locations across eight states. The company also opened a new specialty equipment rental location in Murray, Utah, in July.

“This is the second greenfield location we have opened for our specialty rental division in the past four months. The new Oregon location will be the fifth standalone CHI location that REIC now operates,” said Kevin Fitzgerald, REIC CEO. “This location will service the fast-growing Oregon, southwest Washington and southwest Idaho markets. We are excited about the growth of our specialty rental division and we plan to open additional locations across the country over the next several years.”
