As The ARA Show™ — scheduled for Oct. 17-20 in Las Vegas — quickly approaches, there are several things attendees can expect during this premier event for the equipment and event rental industry.

A large and extensive show floor.

More than 600 exhibitors will be there, including big-name manufacturers who have exhibited for decades and new ones bringing the latest products and innovations to the industry. You will be able to source new suppliers for equipment, get a look at the latest trends, make connections with others during networking events and take part in a full day of education sessions on Sunday, Oct. 17.

Safety precautions.

Throughout The ARA Show, precautions will be made to help create a safe and healthy experience. The show will be abiding by all health practices required by Clark County and the State of Nevada. All attendees will be required to wear a face covering while indoors. Masks will be available on site if an attendee does not have one of their own.

The ARA Show also will be implementing social distancing. Lounges and seating will be arranged to provide distancing. Seating at tables will be limited to six people per table.

Those attending the show also will have access to multiple locations which will offer standard or rapid coronavirus (COVID-19) testing.

Additional outdoor experiences.

An outdoor exhibit area will feature numerous manufacturers. During the three-day trade show, food trucks also will be located in that area. There attendees can grab a bite to eat and enjoy the warm Las Vegas weather without having to wear a mask. Several show events also have been moved outside to allow attendees to gather safely.

Regional Receptions — Monday, Oct. 18, from 5–6:30 p.m. — will be held outside the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) in the Silver Lot. There will be signage designating an area for each region to gather.

ARA’s Oktoberfest … Las Vegas Style! —Tuesday, Oct. 19, from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. — will be held on the Bronze Lot at the LVCC. The night will include a live band, beer tents, food trucks, yard games and Vegas-inspired entertainers.

“The ARA Show 2021 is going to be the same great show, executed in a safe, essential way. Our goal is to bring the equipment and event rental industry together in one place, while also making it a safe environment for all in attendance. We can’t wait to see everyone next month in Las Vegas,” says Christine Hammes, ARA’s vice president, association services.
