A man went into a local rental store to pick up some items for his daughter’s birthday party. He completed the paperwork at the counter and was directed to pull around to the side of the rental yard to the loading zone. Paperwork in hand, he did as he was directed.
As he waited for his turn, he felt a bump and heard a loud metal-on-metal screech. He turned around and saw that a skid steer was up against the side of his car. The employee operating the skid steer was looking to their right, preparing to turn, and didn’t realize he had gotten so close to the cars waiting at the loading area.
