Listen now: Hooks shares his pandemic experience

Rental Management recently spoke to Dan Hooks, CERP, president, Party Reflections, Charlotte, N.C., and American Rental Association (ARA) president, about his experience and thoughts during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Like many party and event rental companies, Party Reflections had a large downturn in revenue, but is starting to see better times ahead while looking back at lessons learned.

“I learned a lot about our business, the industry, and about where we fit in the total special event industry overall. I think there are a lot of lessons that should be learned from this and carried forward. If we don’t learn anything from this, I think we’re kidding ourselves and we’re destined to repeat the problems we’ve had to this point. I don’t think it’s been all bad. It’s given us time to reflect,” Hooks says.
