Loxam Group, Paris, has acquired JM Trykluft, Aarhus, Denmark, from its current owners Christian Kannegaard Samuelsen and Carl Frederik Studier.
JM Trykluft has been active in Denmark as a general equipment rental player since the 1970s and has a network of nine branches located throughout Jutland, with headquarters in Aarhus. In 2020, JM Trykluft generated revenues in excess of €18 million (US$21.9 million) and employed approximately 70 people. This acquisition reinforces Loxam’ setup in the Western part of the country, where it has been present since 2007, and complements its network of 21 general plant branches and six specialized branches to set up a best-in-class service network for its clients, the company says.
“We are very excited and proud to announce the acquisition of JM Trykluft by Europe’s No. 1, Loxam. We would like to thank our dedicated employees, vendors and other relations for their strong commitment through decades. Together with Loxam, an extraordinary company that shares many of the same values and with a strong management, JM Trykluft will continue its success to the next level”, said Kannegaard Samuelsen and Frederik Studier.
“I am delighted to welcome the skilled and experienced JM Trykluft team into the Loxam Group. JM Trykluft is a long-established and renowned player in Denmark and operates an equipment range very well known to the Loxam Group and we will be able to share our mutual expertise. We will join forces to provide our customers with the best service through an expanded and unique network,” said Gérard Déprez, president, Loxam.
