Dynapac North America soil compactors

The CA1300/1400 soil compactors from Dynapac North America, Fort Mill, S.C., are vibratory rollers designed for compaction operations in pipe trenches, compacting roads, streets, repair work and parking lots. The 5- to 7-ton rollers offer exceptional maneuverability, the company says. The PD version, equipped with pads and drum drive, is suitable for the compaction of silt and clayey soils. The PD version can be equipped with leveling blade and the D version with pad shell kit.

The models feature a safety cab with fresh air ventilation, heating and air conditioning. External traffic mirrors, four LED working lights, rotating beacon, and radio with USB/MP3 and Bluetooth connection are standard. The CA1400 has a compaction width of 54- and 66-in. respectively and static linear load up to 114 lbs. per linear in. (PLI), giving the ability to compact sand and gravel up to 20 in.

The machine features two amplitudes, high at 0.067 in. and low at 0.032 in. The PD version can compact silt and clay at a depth of 18 in. The machines are equipped with Kubota Tier 4 engines at 75 hp. A 12V outlet is located in the engine compartment to facilitate service even during night operation.
