General Equipment Co. floor covering stripper

The FCS10 Gen 2 RIP-R-STRIPPER® floor covering stripper from General Equipment Co., Owatonna, Minn., is redesigned and offers new features for improved productivity, operator comfort and ease of transport, the company says. The product is compatible with a variety of straight and scoring type blades up to 10 in. wide for use on wood and concrete surfaces. Anti-Vibe™ caster wheels add to the maneuverability of the unit in small spaces, while minimizing the amount of vibration experienced by the operator.

The tool weighs 44 lbs. without a blade and has a detachable handle design. The easier attachment method improves flooring material flow over the front of the unit. An ergonomic steel handle has been widened to provide greater comfort. Other features include a 2,300W power unit that operates from a standard 15-ampere circuit. The on/off switch is at the top of the operator handle for greater visibility and access.
