Hiring great talent starts with attracting the right talent. Developing an effective, engaging and inclusive job description is key.
Most people search for roles that match their skills and experience. As a result, the job title associated with the job description is important in today’s world of online job postings. Targeted job titles are more effective than generic ones. Be precise by including key phrases that accurately describe the role. Avoid the use of internal terminology. If you call a position a “client relationship manager,” but the more common term in the industry is “account manager,” you may miss good candidates.
