Caterpillar, Deerfield, Ill., reported 2021 first quarter sales and revenues of $11.9 billion, a 12 percent increase compared to $10.6 billion in the 2020 first quarter.

H&E Equipment Services, Baton Rouge, La., earned $278.4 million in revenue during the 2021 first quarter, a decrease of 2.6 percent compared to $285.9 million a year ago. Total equipment rental revenues for the 2021 first quarter were $156.2 million, a decrease of 10.5 percent compared to $174.5 million a year ago.

Oshkosh Corp., Oshkosh, Wis., reported fiscal 2021 second quarter net income of $99.6 million, compared to $68.6 million in the second quarter of fiscal 2020. Oshkosh Corp. is the parent company of JLG Industries, McConnellsburg, Pa. The access equipment segment sales in the fiscal 2021 second quarter increased 6.5 percent to $738.2 million due to improved market demand in Asia and North America.

Terex Corp., Westport, Conn., earned net sales of $864.2 million during the 2021 first quarter, compared to $833.6 million the year prior.
