Do we really have to talk about 2020? As it relates to tent installations, the answer is an emphatic yes.
The past 12 months have presented challenges thus far unseen with regard to the safe installation of tents — not the least of which was the volume of tents sold to businesses that had no idea what was at stake — pun intended — if they didn’t go about installing their new tents in a safe manner.
Tents also have been used in long-term rentals at a level never seen before. While tents have been the saving grace for so many rental companies, 2021 seems to have picked right back up where we left off at the end of 2020 and this would be the perfect time to refresh and reset in terms of what exactly goes into a safe tent installation — either in a short-term or a long-term rental.
Let’s face it, short-term rentals should be installed no differently than a long-term rental. None of us know exactly what tomorrow holds, and Murphy’s Law will hold us accountable tomorrow for the corners we cut today.
