Byline Financial Group, Bannockburn, Ill.: Alex Shields has been named vice president, sales vendor relationship manager, specializing in the agriculture and construction equipment industry. In this role, he will focus on securing new dealer and manufacturer finance programs for the company. Shields previously held the role of district sales manager-east at Kaeser Compressors, Fredericksburg, Va.

Takeuchi-US, Atlanta: Clayton Whitesides has been named Central Midwest regional manager. He will manage all sales development and activity within that territory, which includes Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana and West Texas. Whitesides comes to Takeuchi from Doosan Infracore North America of Suwanee, Ga., where he began his equipment industry career as an inside sales coordinator. Ian Poole has been named inside sales representative. He will be responsible for sales development and support for the company's dealers and direct accounts. In addition, he will support Takeuchi's regional business managers with dealer development and recruitment, inventory control, forecasting, program promotion, communications and more. Poole has more than 25 years of industry experience.
