Lyle Broadfoot, 93, of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, died Feb. 14, 2021. Broadfoot began working at The Rent-It Store in the 1960s and soon became an owner. The business remains in the family where Broadfoot’s son, Doron, currently serves as president. Broadfoot and his wife, Dorothy, continued to visit the store every Thursday for coffee until the winter of 2019. He also worked for Acklands and owned Business Furnishings until he retired. Broadfoot was active in the American Rental Association (ARA) and Canadian Rental Association (CRA) communities.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; son, Doron (Jane) Broadfoot; son-in-law, Darcy (Cheryl) Tofin; grandchildren, Michael (Kit) Broadfoot, Carrie (Mark) Teal, Michelle (Joey) McGill, Amy Tofin, Cole (Marissa) Tofin, and Drew (Nicole) Tofin; great-grandchildren, Mikayla, Neely and Tyler Broadfoot, Lakelyn and Layla Teal, and Eli Tofin.
