ARA launches new training program for party and event delivery and operations staff

Jan. 17, 2021

A new professional training program from the American Rental Association (ARA) is designed for delivery and operations staff in the party and event rental industry. The Box Truck Training program includes in-depth information about proper lifting and loading techniques, warehouse safety, safe driving, customer service, and delivery and pickup considerations.

The training also includes Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations on truck and load weights, driver log books and licensing requirements. Within the training, students will be engaged through interactive knowledge checks, animated videos and live videos from rental operations.

The Box Truck Training takes between four and five hours to complete. To pass, students must take a quiz at the end of each module and achieve an 80 percent score.
