In memoriam: Patrick ‘Pat’ Rooney

Patrick Joseph “Pat” Rooney, 83, died Jan. 26, 2022. Rooney founded ABC Rental Center in Dundalk, Md., in 1978. Over the years, he built and opened two more ABC tool and party rental locations in Baltimore and in Rosedale, Md., and a tent rental company.

Rooney is survived by children, Tim Rooney and Erin (Todd) Snyder; grandchildren, Shannon Rooney, Connor Rooney, Dakota Snyder, Atlin Snyder and Madison Snyder; and sister, Kathleen Rooney O'Shea.
