American Rental Association (ARA) member volunteers annually comprise committees, councils, work and shared interest groups (SIGs), which serve as advisors to ARA. These member leadership groups consist of general and associate members working alongside ARA and/or ARA Insurance staff to offer their expertise and assist the association in providing relevant programs, products and services to meet member needs and support their business success.
The goals and objectives of the ARA strategic plan drive the work of these volunteer groups, which are charged with progressing toward the achievement of those objectives. The following members from Region Eight have been selected to participate in 2022:
Tim Allen, Allen Rents, Roseburg, Ore., and ARA Equipment Rental SIG co-chair, is serving on the Equipment Rental Advocacy Work Group.
Sam Castillo, Tates Rents, Boise, Idaho, and ARA of Idaho treasurer, is serving on the ARAPAC Council.
AnnaMarie (Annie) Ricci, Bigfork Rentals, Bigfork, Mont., is serving on the Women in Rental Committee.
Larry Steele, Aurora Rents, Shoreline, Wash., and an ARA of Washington board member, is serving on the ARAPAC Council.
Kyle Tegner, CERP, Special Occasions, Corvallis, Ore., and ARA of Oregon board member, is serving on the Young Professionals Committee.
Connie Lannan
Connie Lannan is special projects editor for Rental Management. She helps plan, coordinate, write and edit ARA’s quarterly regional newsletters, In Your Region. She also researches, writes and edits news and feature articles for Rental Management, Rental Pulse, supplements, special reports and other special projects. Outside of work, she loves to bake for others, go for walks with her husband and volunteer for her church and causes she believes in.
