ARA of New Hampshire welcomes new leadership team members

In July, the ARA of New Hampshire board of directors welcomed the following industry professionals who stepped up to serve as members of the state chapter’s leadership body for the first time.

Anthony DeFlorio
Owner · DeFlorio Enterprises · Loudon 

Through DeFlorio Enterprises, DeFlorio has owned APEX Rentals for three years. Located approximately two miles south of New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, APEX Rentals rents mini excavators, skid steers, dump trailers, attachments and more.

In addition to his ownership of APEX Rentals, DeFlorio has acted as a floorplan auditor in equipment rental stores for eight years. He attended the New Hampshire Technical Institute, Concord, N.H., where he studied business administration and management. DeFlorio is a member of the American Rental Association’s (ARA) Young Professional Network (YPN).

Brian Gould
President · Christian Party Rental · Hollis

Christian Party Rental has been a family-owned business for 75 years. Since 1980, the Gould family has operated the company that was founded by its namesake, Arthur Christian.

Gould began his career in the rental industry in 1980. He is an avid user of ARA products and services and is a frequent attendee of The ARA Show™. In addition to his responsibilities in the rental industry, Gould is the president of an over-45 hockey league.

Allison McIntosh
Operations manager · Taylor True Value Rental · Concord

Taylor True Value Rental in Concord was established in 1971 when Doug and Louise Dartnell bought into the Taylor Rental franchise. The company provides both equipment and event rentals, and in late 2019 moved into a brand-new facility after operating out of the same location for 48 years. 

2019 also saw the arrival of McIntosh to the Taylor True Value Rental team. She started with the company as a part-time customer service representative and worked her way up to her current position, through which she is responsible for managing the store's strategic planning, performance and processes. Prior to working at Taylor True Value Rental, McIntosh worked as a hair stylist for seven years and has extensive experience in the food and beverage industry. She is an ARA YPN member and has stepped up to serve as board secretary for the ARA of New Hampshire.

Billy Paquette
General manager · B.L.C. Equipment & Supply Co. · Salem

Established in 2010, B.L.C. Equipment & Supply is an independently owned construction rental equipment and sales company.

Paquette has been with the company since 2019. In his role as general manager, he oversees internet sales, marketing and building the B.L.C. brand. He takes pride in actively increasing the company’s revenue, both on and offline. Paquette, an ARA YPN member, brings a diverse professional background to the ARA of New Hampshire board, including experience as a dietary aid, auto detailer and years of experience in distribution marketing.
