Mary Moore Larick has been named senior account specialist — event segment for the American Rental Association (ARA). In this role, Moore Larick will interface with ARA’s event rental members and focus on growing this segment of membership.
Moore Larick, a North Carolina native, has been involved in the event rental industry since 2010 when she joined CE Rental, Raleigh, N.C., as an account executive. While serving as a brand ambassador for the company, Moore Larick worked to grow CE Rental’s account base, establishing a reputation as an expert in tabletop design and linens in the process. In 2017, she became the company’s director of sales. Then, in 2021, a new opportunity beckoned for Moore Larick in the form of ARA’s effort to enhance its offerings for those in the event rental community.
“I love working in the day-to-day operations at the store level; however, after 10-plus years of doing so, I was ready to leverage my knowledge of rental stores, their needs and my love of helping people at a new level. I felt this aligned with ARA’s strategic plan and growth. At the same time, ARA felt there would be good results by dedicating somebody to the event segment and offering a more individualized focus,” she says.
Armed with more than a decade of event rental experience and a deep familiarity with the underpinnings of what makes for great events, Moore Larick is enthusiastic about steering ARA event rental members toward the products and services that can help them be successful.
“I’m excited to be part of ARA and connect members with the different solutions the association provides. I also look forward to bringing about more awareness of ARA within the industry and the benefits that go along with membership,” she says.
