In memoriam: Lou Ann (Branson) White

Lou Ann (Branson) White, 86, Lakewood, Colo., died Aug. 29. Trained as a nurse, she and her husband, Herb White, started Continental Divide Marketing in 1973.

According to her obituary, “for nearly 30 years, Lou Ann was the brains and Herb the brawn behind the successful company.” Her son, Herb White II, Golden, Colo., who serves as the ARA of Colorado associate member director, is now the president of the company. He caters to rental operators as an American Rental Association (ARA) independent manufacturer representative.

She is survived by her son, Herb (Michelle Kubik) White II; daughters, Carrie (John) Hintzman and Jennifer Reed; as well as six grandchildren.

There are no services planned, but her ashes will be returned to her childhood home in Indiana.
