Wisconsin, Michigan and Ohio operators, become ARA Certified Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) Trainers

Rental operators in Wisconsin, Michigan and Ohio will be able to take advantage of the American Rental Association’s (ARA) Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) Train-the-Trainer programs this fall, thanks to the ARA of Wisconsin, the ARA of Michigan and the ARA of Ohio.

This ARA member-exclusive training qualifies graduates to train operators using ARA materials that satisfy Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements as well as the new American National Standards Institute (ANSI) A92 standards. The two-part training includes a self-paced online classroom portion that is available through ARA’s RentalU and then the hands-on training that is administered by ARA Certified Master Trainers.

The ARA of Wisconsin will offer training:

• Tuesday, Oct. 25, at A to Z RentalAll powered by RentalMax, Madison, Wis.

The ARA of Michigan will offer training:

• Tuesday, Oct.  25, at MacAllister Rentals, Traverse City, Mich.
• Thursday, Oct. 27, at MacAllister Rentals, Lansing, Mich.

The ARA of Ohio will offer training:

• Tuesday, Nov. 1, at Aladdin Rents, Eastlake, Ohio
• Thursday, Nov. 3, at High Lift Equipment, Cincinnati
