Happy summer, Region Three members! I hope everyone is staying busy and that things have continued to improve as life and business begin to look like our pre-pandemic world.
If your business is anything like mine, finding people to work has been harder than ever before. To assist with this, the American Rental Association (ARA) has created a new job board where you can post open positions. The first five job postings on the ARA Job Board are free to members who use the promo code ARA-5Free. This is a great way to advertise your open positions to job seekers.
I am honored to be part of ARA’s new Event Segment Advocacy Committee. This is a group of engaged event rental operators around the country who will work with ARA’s government affairs team to brainstorm ideas and discuss segment-specific issues of mutual concern. One of the first tasks was to stand up the Economic Bridge Coalition (EBC), spearheaded by ARA and made up of a broad array of industries that depend on the ability of people to gather. EBC is asking Congress for additional federal investment in these industries so they can survive and thrive.
