Learn how to navigate the new employment world April 21

With the current labor challenges, the ARA of Indiana board knows that rental operators throughout the state need help to find effective strategies for recruiting and retaining talented employees. That is why the state chapter is offering “Navigating the new employment world,” a free event, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 21.

Learn from two workforce personnel experts — Mike Elmore, recruiting manager with Express Pros, and Emily Shaw, sales coach with Lushin.

Discover:

  • The reasons why workers accept, stay at and leave a job.
  • How to attract employees now.
  • How to assess an applicant’s competencies.
  • Best practices for hiring and firing, including an effective way to onboard new hires.
  • The latest employment trends on both the national and local levels.
  • The importance of setting and managing recruitment standards.
  • How the American Rental Association (ARA) Job Posting Portal and the other resources on ARARentalWorks.com can help you in this effort.

In addition to the presentations, all attendees will enjoy a delicious lunch and have the opportunity to tour MacAllister Rentals’ headquarters in Indianapolis.

To register, click here. Don’t delay. The deadline is April 18.
