Members of the Tennessee rental community met at All Occasions Party Rental in Knoxville, Tenn., on March 22 for an inside look at the facility and to learn from an expert about how to perform as an elite company.
Attendees of the ARA of Tennessee event heard from guest speaker Dan Crowley, founder and president of Peer Executive Groups, who presented “How to Perform Like an Elite Company.” During his discussion, Crowley dove into:
- Gino Wickman’s Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) model
- How to establish your Vision-Traction-Organizer
- Building a culture that thrives
The evening also included a meet and greet with Knox County Mayor Glen Jacobs, a tour of All Occasions Party Rentals, dinner and drinks.
Mike Holland, CERP, president, Chattanooga Tent & Event Solutions, Chattanooga, Tenn., and ARA of Tennessee treasurer, says he went to the event for the networking and the opportunity to visit another American Rental Association (ARA) member facility, but got a lot more.
“From the networking at the meeting, I saw that our industry is thriving almost everywhere and in both the party and tool segments,” he says. “Dan [Crowley] was engaging and really has a passion for our industry. I really like the fact that he is working with the book ‘Traction.’ And it was nice to hear from the mayor of Knoxville on his take toward our industry, which was favorable. It was also nice hear about All Occasions’ civic involvement in Knoxville.”
