Get Involved

Thank you for your interest in the ARA Foundation and Toro Company Foundation Community Impact Program.

This initiative is designed to improve the communities where our rental members work and live, with an emphasis on assisting underserved populations. We support a variety of projects and partner with local nonprofit organizations and rental industry businesses to make a difference in their communities.

The ARA Foundation and The Toro Company Foundation, which included Toro and Ditch Witch companies, work together to secure equipment donations and volunteers for each project in addition to providing financial support to complete the plan. Some of the projects that have been completed to date include:

  • Renovation of a baseball field and gardens at The Boys & Girls Club, Cleveland, Ohio
  • Repairing damaged fence, laying sod and mulch at Green Valley Ranch, Denver, Colorado
  • Trail renovation and removal of waste following a flash flood and building a natural play area for kids, Fort Snelling State Park, St. Paul, Minnesota
  • Replacing garden beds, exterior beautification and building an outdoor classroom at Winston Elementary School, San Antonio, Texas
  • Rebuilding washed out trails, excavating land, laying sod and rock, and removing invasive plants and grass, Folly Farm Nature Preserve, Safety Harbor, Florida
