Harold Sater, ARA Region 4 Director on the ARA Board of Directors (OK, TX, LA, AR) needs your input. Harold would like to work with the Oklahoma ARA members to determine if you want to re-activate your state association. Harolds initial step is to hold a Get-Ready organizational meeting to determine your interest in doing so.
Ditch Witch has graciously agreed to sponsor this event at their headquarters in Perry, OK, including providing a tour of their state of the art manufacturing facilities. The program will include open discussion of having a state association, talking about the program and key issues in Oklahoma that members want to act upon. We will discuss what other ARA state associations are doing and the benefit to their members. The financial and staff support from ARA for a state association will be covered, along with what ARA makes available to state associations and state leadership. Ditch Witch will host us, and well spend some time with them.
The tentative dates for this meeting are Wednesday and Thursday, November 12 and 13, tentatively starting with dinner on Wednesday night and concluding by no later than 4 p.m. on Thursday afternoon. Times may be tightened up some as the date approaches.
