Jan. 10, 2021

The 332H and 348H EPIC two-man hole diggers from General Equipment Co., Owatonna, Minn., are equipped with 5.5-hp Honda GXV160 four-stroke engines. The models can dig holes up to 18 in. in diameter. The models offer an ergonomic design and heavy-duty construction to handle a wide range of construction-related hole-digging projects, from backyard fencing to landscaping or sod sampling jobs.

The hole diggers also include an Auger-LOK feature for removing stuck augers. The Auger-LOK uses a spring-loaded actuator to lock the auger in place so that operators can twist the auger out of the hole. The models include a heavy-duty, enclosed spur-gear transmission with oversized bearings, heat-treated shafts and machine-cut gears. The engine offers a maximum digging torque of 190 ft. lbs.
