Trackunit names Brogaard as new CEO

Nov. 29, 2020

Soeren Brogaard has been named CEO of Trackunit, Aalborg, Denmark, effective Dec. 1. Brogaard will be taking over the position from Joergen Raguse, who has been named vice-chairman of the board at Trackunit. Under the management of Raguse, Trackunit has developed from a European telematics provider to become the leading SaaS-based IoT solution and machine insights provider to the global construction equipment industry, the company says.

Brogaard joined Trackunit after leaving Schneider Electric in 2016. Initially recruited as chief technology officer (CTO), he headed research and product development, including hardware and software engineering, strategic marketing and customer care. In February 2018, he took up the position of chief commercial officer (CCO), implementing data-driven global customer success strategies which have delivered continued revenue growth throughout the industry from small rental companies to large OEMs and construction contractors, the company says.

“As a technology visionary, Soeren has played a major role in defining solutions and services which enable partners and customers to realize long-term value by working with Trackunit. Soeren’s strong belief in value-and purpose-driven leadership will continue to be a great asset as we drive the company to greater success,” said Franck Cohen, chairman of the Trackunit board.

“I’d like to underline our thanks to Joergen Raguse for his vision and direction; I’m pleased to have his continued support for Soeren during this new period of expansion and growth,” Cohen added.

“Trackunit has built a great position of trust and confidence by working collaboratively with some of the great manufacturer brands, rental companies and contractors over the last five years. Today we provide world-leading SaaS-based IoT solutions to construction, delivering data and insights for more informed decision making to make the sector more efficient and productive. Our objective is to continue to help construction become more digitally aware and transformed as we journey together to eliminate downtime,” said Brogaard.
