OSHA hosts fall protection awareness week

Sep. 13, 2020

This week — Sept. 14-18 — employers across the country are encouraged to take part in a National Safety Stand-Down to prevent falls in construction. A Safety Stand-Down is a voluntary event for employers to talk directly to employees about safety. Any workplace can hold a stand-down by taking a break to focus on “Fall Hazards” and reinforcing the importance of “Fall Prevention.”

Resources and event details can be found on the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) website. Click here to learn more.

Additional fall protection information also can be found in the April 2020 Safety Issue from Rental Management magazine.
