“In addition to the many products and services that ARA offers, I've had the privilege of having served three separate terms on the ARA board of directors as Region Two director, director at large from the Ash Can Club (a one-year term) and as the chairperson for the Party and Event Services Shared Interest Group. I've also served on numerous committees, including Events & Tents on several occasions, and have been active in my state and local associations over the years. Through my volunteer activities within the industry, I've had the opportunity to meet and work with many of the top leaders of the industry; this includes the volunteers, such as myself, as well as the members of the ARA staff. I am proud to say that I have met every ARA president who has held office from 1972 forward. Getting to know these individuals has been beneficial to me personally and professionally.”
