Recertification
The American Rental Association (ARA) is pleased to announce procedures for
the Certified Event Rental Professional (CERP) recertification process. ARA
members who hold the CERP designation will be required to continue in
professional and personal growth activities to retain their certification
status.
The new recertification program was developed and approved by the ARA Party
Certification Task Force in September, 2006. To recertify, CERP graduates need
to accumulate 35 points in the five-year period since their graduation from the
CERP program.
The recertification process needs to be completed five years from your
original graduation date and then every five years after that. Current CERP
graduates will be notified six months in advance that their designation will
expire on their five-year anniversary of their graduation. You may submit your
recertification application during the period of three months prior to one month
after your expiration date.
