The Leonard Hawk Founders Scholarship

The ARA Foundation honors the American Rental Association's founding president with the Leonard Hawk Founders Scholarship.

The first $3,000 scholarship was awarded to the Foundation scholarship program's top applicant, Matthew D. Jones of Rent All Center, Alexandria, Va., for 2010/2011.

The recipient of the 2011/2012 Leonard Hawk Founders Scholarship is Richard Kevin Saunders of Sully's Tool and Party Rental, Akron, Ohio.

Hawk served as ARA president from 1955 to 1958. All Foundation scholarship applicants are automatically considered for the Leonard Hawk Founders Scholarship.
